About Rehoboth
Rehoboth Beach offers some of the most beautiful white sand beaches on the East Coast. We also have a busy yet safe Boardwalk with attractions for kids of any age, especially little ones. Local restaurants offer everything from burgers and beach fries to fine dining, raw bar and sushi. For those who like to cook, we have a Farmers Market on Tuesday at noon with chef demonstrations – Silver Queen may be hard to find, but the soil here produces wonderful corn and tomatoes whatever the variety. We’ve just opened a museum where you can learn about the town’s origins as a Methodist campground and our Rehoboth Art League has attracted artists for decades.
Shoppers will find interesting stores along Rehoboth Avenue and hundreds of outlets nearby on Route 1 (including Kate Spade, J Crew, Gap, Banana Republic, Fossil and many, many more).
If you like, you can park your car and walk everywhere for a week. You can sit on the porch and read or head to the beach and watch the waves, swim, skimboard or surf. You can also find sailing, parasailing, deep-sea fishing charters and beaches for surf casting. We’re within easy reach (by bike or by car) of Cape Henlopen State Park and Seashore State Park; Assateague Island National Seashore State Park is about 30 miles south. There’s also a ferry to take you over to Victorian Cape May, N.J.
